Immigration Fee's

As with our Motoring Offences we are clear and open about our costs. We also work on agreed fees basis. At the start of your matter, we will tell you what it will cost so you do not need to worry about your costs escalating out of control.

The immigration department is headed by Chima Madiuke a senior solicitor with many years of experience. His hourly rate is £200 plus VAT.

The fees do not include disbursements which are costs payable third parties, such as Tribunal / Court Fees. First Tier Tribunal and Appeal matters a may wish to instruct a Barrister to represent you. This will be discussed at the outset with you so you will not be surprised.

The application to the home office or your matter could take 3 months to 9 months or longer. This is all subject to The Home Office and The Tribunals workload.

As a guide our fees are as follows:

Points Based Applications (PBS)

  • Tier 2 (Worker) £400.00 - £600.00
  • Tier 4 (Students) £300.00 - £600.00
  • Tier 4 (Students) £300.00 - £600.00
  • Tier 5 (All Categories) - £400.00
  • Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) - TBA
  • Tier 1 (Investor) - TBA

Settlement applications made in the UK

  • Indefinite Leave to Remain (Tier PBS route) - £400.00
  • Indefinite Leave to Remain for PBS Dependents - £400.00
  • Partner or Parent (5 year route) - £400- £700
  • 10 years’ long residence - £400- £750
  • Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa - £1500- £2000

British citizenship

  • Adult Naturalisation or Child Registration (under 18) - £400- £750
  • British Overseas - £400- £750
  • UK born stateless person - £750- £1,000

EEA applications made in the UK

  • Spouse of an EEA national - £400
  • Unmarried Partner of an EEA national - £400
  • Retained rights of residence - £400
  • Registration Certificate as an EEA national - £400
  • Permanent residence for EEA/Non-EEA nationals - £400

Leave to remain under other categories

  • Family or private life route - £400- £1,000
  • Child of a person who is settled in the UK/has limited leave to remain - 400- £1,000
  • UK born stateless person (not eligible for British nationality) - £400- £1,000
  • Outside the immigration rules applications - £400- £1,000
  • Child under 7 years route – £400- £700

Appeals

  • Lodging initial grounds of appeal to the First-tier Tribunal - £400 – £600
  • Representation at the First-tier Tribunal - £750-1500
  • Lodging grounds to the Upper Tribunal - £500
  • Representation to the Upper Tribunal - £1,000-£1,500
  • Representation at Case Management Review Hearing - £750

Judicial Review

  • Lodging a Judicial Review claim at the Upper Tribunal - £1,500- £2,500
  • Lodging a Judicial Review claim at the High Court - £1,200- £1,500
  • Representation at a Judicial Review Permission Hearing at the Upper Tribunal - £1,000- £1,500
  • Representation at a Judicial Review Permission Hearing at the High Court - £1,500- £2,000
  • Judicial Review Injunction to prevent removal directions - £1,500- £2,000
  • Administrative review - £600- £1,000

Employer’s Sponsorship Licence

  • Tier 2 (Employer Sponsor License Application) £1000- £2,000

The fees are based on the amount of work, history of any previous application and refusals, whether any specialist advice is needed.

Work that is included in the above fees is as follows:

  • Your instructions including advice and guidance in relation to the application
  • Preparing your application, including preparing the bundles the documentation that is required for the application
  • Drafting your application and lodging it
  • Correspondences and reasonable and necessary contact with your solicitor

The fees following include the following:

  • Barrister’s fees these could be in the region £150 to 450 pounds not including VAT
  • Experts fees these are in the region of £1500 to £2500 plus VAT
  • Interpreters fees
  • Disbursements

We will discuss these with you prior to any work being undertaken. We agree all our fees at the outset. So you know the cost upfront.
